What a great day? This past weekend we hosted a wonderful gathering for my daughter. It was her special day and many of her little friends and both my wife’s family and mine were there. Stacie and her family from Boise, ID, Jennifer and Emmy from Texas. The big event was held at my in law’s lodge. There were about 60 people in attendance, and we served them wood fired pizza, out of a portable pizza oven, thirty five in all. This time we choose to show off our chicken bacon ranch, barbecue chicken, our famous four cheese pizza that premiers Laurie’s famous sauce, pepperoni (my daughters favorite) and finally plain old cheese. The excitement of the day was unveiling of our new <em>portable pizza oven</em>. It is bright red and as cute as ever. We have realized that the oven becomes the point of social interaction. We had some great conversation around the oven. Everyone had such great ideas and were so positive about what we had created. Oh yea, my daughter loved it on her big day, and there is nothing better for a Dad than to see his baby girl smile.
