This weekend and last we have spent our Saturdays at the Provo Utah Farmers Market. The goal has been to

continue to break in our oven and get the word out about our Wood Fired Pizza business. So far the goal has been accomplished. The last two Saturdays have been wonderful. We have met so many amazing people that have been so incredibly positive about our Pizza’s.

The pizzas are made to order. One pizza at a time. We roll out the homemade dough as thin as we can get it. Load up the tomato, or pesto sauce, and start piling on the toppings. Then comes the fun part. The pizzas head for the wood fired oven. It is maintained at 1000 degrees, with a mixture of Oak, hickory, and locust wood. With the oven that hot the pizza is ready to eat in 50 seconds. Yep 50 seconds!! It is fun to see peoples faces when the order turn around a few times and viola pizza. Then the next look is even better when they take their first bite. “This is Amazing, they say” So far in our first two weeks we have had happy customer after happy customer. There is something about wood fired pizza that people love.

So far we have only served two different kinds of pizza.

A pepperoni, and a pesto four cheese. The four cheese includes feta, smoked provolone, cheddar and mozzarella. It is a combination that folks can’t resist. You should check it out our self. You can find out where we are going to be next by checking out a upcoming events page.

The Roma Stone not only makes pizzas at the Farmers Market. We can also come to your house and provide pizzas for your party. There are several different packages to choose from, we even will provide the dough and the oven and you provide your custom toppings. And please don’t forget to check out our build and oven page.
